love shines on

It’s raining outside and my heart is content.

There is something about being in community that provides my heart with such comfort. If there is anything that I have learned in my life it is that my heart comes alive when I am with people.

This place, Costa Rica, is kind of like a second home, not because of the culture, but because the people I have met and the things that I have experienced down here.

I have only been down here for a week or so and all the relatioships I left behind the last time I left Costa Rica were restored almost immediately. And I am blessed to be in a community of such awesome believers.

Often times I find myself in awe of where I am and the things that I get to experience. Last Sunday I found myself staying with a little old couple that I towered over (that’s right, me at 5’2″.) The woman Anabel gave me a tour of her house and I got to try some crazy fruits and pet her cute little cats. I get so excited when Ticos share the same love for animals that I have.

I kind of wish that you, whoever is reading this, could be here with me right now. Getting to experience life, Fully.

I already have so many crazy stories, so many crazy memories, that wouldn’t be served justice being described online. So I will leave you with this.

I am joyful. Blessed in this life. Life is full, lovely, beautiful.
